CNPC produces record natural gas at Yumen oilfield

Chinese state-run energy company CNPC on July 8 said that natural gas output at the Yumen oilfield in western China hit a record high.

The natural gas output of the Ningqing block of the Huanqing production plant as of July 1 exceeded 100,000 m3/day, a new high, CNPC said. Yumen oilfield was developed and constructed in 1939 as the first natural petroleum base in China.
