CNPC Expands Winter Gas Supplies

Chinese state-run CNPC has increased gas supplies to the domestic market during the ongoing winter season running from November 1 to March 15, it said on December 31. 

The company's gas supplies during the November 1-December 26 period were up 4.2% year on year, it said without disclosing the actual volumes.

CNPC said its LNG imports via Tangshan LNG terminal were also higher during December. The terminal has received 10 cargoes this month, one more than it did during the same period last year.

Another state-run company Sinopec on December 30 said it supplied 9.35bn m3 of gas during the November 1-December 29 period, up 19% yr/yr.
