Cnooc's Zhuhai Terminal Sets Record
Cnooc Gas and Power’s Zhuhai LNG terminal July 19 supplied 20mn m3 of regasified LNG to customers downstream, highest ever single day transmission since the terminal became operational in October 2013, the company said July 23.
The terminal, located in China’s Guangdong province, has a capacity of 3.5mn mt/yr and supplies gas to cities of Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Foshan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Macao and Jiangmen. Cnooc Gas and Power, a unit of state-owned Cnooc, said the terminal has unloaded 300,000 metric tons of LNG in July so far.
Cnooc Gas and Power, a unit of state-owned Cnooc, operates nine LNG import terminals at Tianjin, Shanghai, Ningbo, Putian, Yuedong, Dapeng, Zhuhai, Hainan and Shenzhen. The company has started work on its 10th terminal.
