Cnooc's Zhuhai pipeline carries more gas in Q1

Cnooc Gas and Power’s Zhuhai pipeline transported 2.24bn m3 of gas in the three months to March 31 (Q1), up 31.6% year/year, the company said on April 8.

The pipeline carries gas from Liwan 3-1 deepwater gas field in the South China Sea and Zhuhai LNG terminal. The Liwan field is operated by state-run Cnooc, the parent company of Cnooc Gas and Power. The Zhuhai LNG terminal, located in China’s Guangdong province, is operated by Cnooc Gas and Power.
