Chinese Natural Gas Output Up 15% in July

Chinese natural gas production in the month of July was 11.7bn metres³, up 14.7% year on year, according to latest data by the country’s National Bureau of Statistics.

July output was higher when compared with production in June of 11.5bn m3.

During January-July, natural gas production was 85.8bn m³, up 8.8% year on year.

China’s coalbed methane output in July was 0.54bn m³, down 0.7% on year.  In the first seven months of 2017, Chinese CBM production was 3.87bn m³, up 2.7% on year.
