Chinese LNG imports up 7% in November

Chinese LNG imports in November came in at 6.8mn tonnes, up 6.6% year/year, according to data published by the customs department on December 18.

The LNG imports during the 11 months of 2023 were 62.99mn tonnes, up 10.9% year/year. In terms of pipeline gas imports, China received 4.15mn tonnes last month, up 6.6% year/year. Cumulatively, the country's pipeline gas imports during the year reached 44.41mn tonnes, up 5.4% year/year.
