Chinese gas output up 7% in January-February

China's natural gas production came in at 39.8bn m3 in the first two months of 2023, up 6.7% year/year, People’s Daily reported on March 15 citing government data.

The growth rate was 0.2 percentage points higher than that of December 2022. China's crude oil output rose 1.8% yr/yr to 34.17mn metric tons during the same period, People’s Daily reported.
