Chinese gas imports up 20% in 2021

China’s natural gas imports via pipeline and in the form of LNG in 2021 were 121.36mn metric tons, up 19.9% year/year, the country’s customs department said on January 14.

The arrivals in December came in at 11.65mn mt, the department said without giving any year/year comparison.
