Chinese gas imports drop slightly in January-April

China’s natural gas imports via pipeline and in the form of LNG during January-April were 35.69mn metric tons, down 0.3% year/year, the country’s customs department said on May 9.

China imported 8.98mn mt of gas in April, the department said.
