China's October Gas Imports Down on Month

China’s natural gas imports (pipeline and LNG) in October were down sharply month on month, according to customs department data published November 8.

Asia’s biggest economy imported 6.52mn metric tons gas last month as against 8.21 mn mt in September, down 20.5%.

Cumulative imports during the first ten months were 77.71mn mt, up 7.9% compared with the same period of the previous year, according to the data.
