    China's March LNG Imports Up 25% on Year

China's March LNG Imports Up 25% on Year

China imported 4.06mn metric tons of LNG in March, up 25% year-on-year, customs department’s data published April 23 showed.

March imports were, however, down month-on-month. In February, China imported 4.35mn mt of LNG. World’s second biggest LNG importer had imported record 6.58mn mt of LNG in January.

During the first three months of 2019, total imports were 14.95mn mt, up 20.7% on the same period last year.
