Chinese LNG Imports up 2.4% in Nov

China imported a record 6.61mn metric tons of LNG in November, up 2.4% yr/yr, the customs department’s data published on December 23 showed. Imports were up 31% month on month.

During the first 11 months of the year, China imported 59.54mn mt of LNG, up 10.7% compared with the same period of last year.

China’s pipeline gas imports in November came to 2.56mn mt, down 13% yr/yr. In January through November they totalled 30.9mn mt, down 7.1% yr/yr, the data showed.
