China's LNG Imports up 13% in September

China’s LNG imports came to 5.73mn metric tons in September, up 13.3% yr/yr, customs department data published October 23 showed. Month on month, imports were down 3.8%.

LNG imports during the nine months of the year totalled 47.9mn mt, up 10.6% yr/yr, the data showed.

Meanwhile, China’s pipeline gas imports during September were 2.9mn mt, down 6% yr/yr, while imports during the January-September period were 25.8mn mt, down 7.2% yr/yr.
