China's June Gas Imports Drop on Month

China’s natural gas imports (pipeline and LNG) in June were down month-on-month, according to customs department data published July 12.

Asia’s biggest economy imported 7.52mn metric tons of gas last month compared with 7.56mn mt in May, the customs department data showed.

Cumulative imports during the first six months were 46.9mn mt, up 11.6% compared with the same period of previous year, according to the data.
