China's Jubang Gas to Start LNG Project

China-based Jubang Gas is planning to start up a 300,000 cubic metre (cbm)/day liquefied natural gas (LNG) project at Langfang in Hebei province in December, ICIS News reported citing a company source.

The $43m project is equipped with a 4,500 cbm storage tank, and will take feedstock gas from PetroChina’s Huabei Oilfield, the source said.

LNG output will mainly be sold to LNG-refuelling stations and industrial users in the nearby Beijing Municipality, and will also be distributed in Hebei and Shandong provinces, the source added.

Jubang Gas is largely engaged in the production, distribution and storage of LNG.
