China's gas imports up 24% in Jan-Jul

China’s natural gas imports via pipeline and in the form of LNG in January-July were up 24% year/year to 68.96mn metric tons (mt), the country’s customs department said on August 7.

Asia’s biggest economy imported 9.33mn mt of gas in July, up 27.1% yr/yr but down 8.5% month/month.
