China's gas imports down 9% in January-February

China’s natural gas imports via pipeline and in the form of LNG in January and February were down 9.4% year/year, the country’s customs department said on March 7.

The country imported 17.93mn metric tons of natural gas in the first two months of 2023 compared with 19.79mn mt in the same period of last year.
