China's Changqing Oilfield output rises 3% in H1

Changqing Oilfield, China's largest oil and gas field, produced 33.99mn metric tons of oil equivalent in the first half of the year, up 3.2% year/year, its operator CNPC said on July 12.

Crude oil production stood at 12.862mn metric tons and natural gas production reached 26.52bn m3.

The field is located in the country's northern Ordos basin and supplies oil and gas to cities including Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
