BW LNG takes delivery of new LNGC

Singapore-based BW LNG has taken delivery of a new LNG carrier, BW Helios, it said on May 25 through a LinkedIn post. The vessel was been built by the South Korean shipbuilder, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

BW Helios is a 174,000 m3 vessel equipped with the latest ME-GI dual-fuel two-stroke engine and full reliquefaction capabilities. The vessel has been chartered to BP, the company said.
