Buru Energy Confirms Gas at Valhalla North-1 Well

Buru Energy has confirmed presence of gas at the Valhalla North-1 well, the company said Thursday.

The well is the fifth well in the Buru – Mitsubishi Corporation Joint Exploration Program in the Canning Superbasin that commenced in June 2011. Buru and Mitsubishi each have a 50% interest in the Valhalla North-1 well. The well is being drilled by Ensign Rig #32. 

Buru Energy Limited is focused on exploring and developing the petroleum resources of the Canning Superbasin, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
