British, French Gas Prices Expected to Rise on Cold Weather

European gas prices could rise sharply in the next weeks over colder-than-usual winters. Forecasts indicate that the UK and France could suffer from colder than average temperatures.

“The weather is being bullish,” Trevor Sikorski, head of natural gas, coal and carbon at Energy Aspects, said to Bloomberg.

According to the news agency, November temperatures in Western Europe and the UK were 1°C below the average.
