BP CFO to Retire in June

BP's chief financial officer (CFO) Brian Gilvary will retire on June 30 2020 after a 34-year career with the UK oil and gas major, the company said in a stock exchange filing on January 21. He will also step down the BP’s board.

His successor will be Murray Auchincloss, who has served as the CFO of BP’s upstream business since 2015.

BP CEO Bob Dudley is also due to retire in February 2020. Taking the company’s helm will be Bernard Looney, who has worked alongside Auchincloss as upstream CEO.
