BG Group Upgrades Tanzania Gas Resources
BG Group has upgraded its total gross recoverable gas resources in Tanzania to around 13 tcf, the company said in its quarterly report.
In July, BG Group had its eighth consecutive gas discovery offshore Tanzania, with the Ngisi-1 exploration well located in Block 4.
The company is in the process of site selection for the LNG plant.
In Australia, BG has made substantial progress on the Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) project and is on track for both first LNG in 2014 and the $20.4 billion budget.
On Curtis Island, the liquefaction plant and common facilities are well on track, BG said.
