Belarus is intensifying its diplomatic activities, with two significant missions taking place on Thursday.

While Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Valentin Rybakov was speaking with the Ambassador of Iran to Belarus, Mohammad Reza Saburi, Belarus’ President, Alexander Lukashenko, met with his Serbian counterpart, Tomislav Nikolic, in Minsk.

"According to the President of Belarus, there are good prospects in the fuel and energy sector, agriculture, machine building, improvement of the transport infrastructure, science, education, and tourism," reads a statement published by his office

Serbian authorities said that Minsk is of great help during Belgrade's current crisis.

“It is very difficult to move forward under the burden of the problems that the country has created for itself. Belarus’ support is very valuable for us,” President Nikolic said.

"The sides discussed the current status of the bilateral relations, including political coordination on international arena, implementation of the joint venture projects and preparation of bilateral visits," a separate press release, reporting the meeting of Rybakov and Saburi, says.
