Azerbaijan sees oil at $75/bbl in 2024 budget against $60 previously -finance minister

 - Azerbaijan has adjusted to $75 per barrel the price it sees for oil in the government's 2024 budget, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said late on Friday in an announcement on his ministry's website.

The previous forecast price was $60 per barrel.

Ministerial data showed projected revenues in the adjusted budget rising 6.4% to 36.4 billion manats ($21.4 billion), with 48.9% of revenues coming from the oil sector.

The adjusted budget showed a rise of 8% in expenditures to 39.7 billion manats. The budget deficit for 2024 is to stand at 2.8% of GDP.
