Australian LNG export revenue falls in March: EnergyQuest

Australian LNG export revenue in March was A$6.18bn ($3.97bn), lower than A$6.3bn in February and down 12% year/year, energy consultant EnergyQuest said on April 16. 

LNG shipment volumes increased slightly in March. Australian projects shipped 7.24mn tonnes of LNG, compared with 7.06mn tonnes in February.

Australia’s March 2024 shipments were 85.2mn tonnes/year on an annualised basis, compared with 81.06mn tonnes/year for the calendar year 2023 and 88.6mn tonnes/year for February 2024, representing 96.2% of nameplate capacity.
