Allseas hired for offshore Mexican gas pipe

Swiss-based Allseas has won a contract from Canada's TC Energy to build an offshore pipeline to carry natural gas off the coast of southeast Mexico, it said on September 21.

The 700-km, 36-inch Southeast Gateway pipeline will run along the coast from Tuxpan, connecting the ports of Coatzacoalcos and Dos Bocas. Pipelaying is due to start next year, with the pipeline slated for launch by mid-2025.
