Why Ukraine Doesnt Want South Stream

Russia's state-owned energy giant Gazprom will pay Ukraine $2.75 billion in transit fees for shipping natural gas to Europe via its territory, up from $2.6 billion in 2010, the company told journalists on Monday.

Russia plans future shipment to Europe via the planned Gazprom led South Stream pipeline project, which will bypass Ukraine.
