Gasunie hires N-Sea for North Sea pipe survey

Dutch gas grid operator Gasunie has hired subsea service provider N-Sea to undertake an acoustic survey of around 230 km of offshore pipeline in the south North Sea between Balgzand in the Netherlands and Bacton in the UK.

The survey covers the acquisition of high-quality to verify the pipeline's condition and identify any anomalies, Gasunie said, with the contract due to run for four years, with an extension possible.
