Skangass Launches LNG Terminal in Lysekil

Skangass unveiled on Thursday its new LNG terminal in Lysekil, Sweden.

‘This marks an important strategically step in making natural gas available for the land based industry and the marine market in the area,’ reads a note released on Thursday evening

The company also stressed the importance of gas in the wider framework of measures to limit climate change.

“Our customer Preem and the LNG terminal in Lysekil is just another good example of what Skangass is aiming at: helping our customers meeting their goals for becoming more energy efficient and environmentally friendly in their daily operations,” Skangass CEO Tor Morten Osmundsen added.

In August, Skangass won clearance from the Swedish Government to build and operate another LNG terminal in Gävle, Sweden.
