Petronas Inks LNG Deal with Hokkaido

Malaysian state Petronas said March 9 it signed a ten-year LNG supply agreement with Japanese utility Hokkaido Electric on March 2.

As per the agreement, Petronas subsidiary Malaysia LNG (MLNG) will deliver up to 130,000 metric tons/yr of LNG to the Japanese utility.

MLNG operates the Petronas LNG Complex in Bintulu, Sarawak. The nine-train facility has a combined production capacity of about 30mn mt/yr.
