GasTerra Names Acting CEO

Dutch marketer GasTerra’s supervisory board said December 15 it has decided to appoint Robert van Rede as acting GasTerra CEO from January 1 2017. He is currently commercial director with GasTerra. He studied mining in Delft and has worked in various positions at Shell, the main Dutch gas producer NAM, and GasTerra. 

GasTerra is owned by Shell and ExxonMobil (each 25%), Dutch state energy holding EBN (40%) and the Dutch state directly owns 10%. Its main supplier NAM is a 50-50 joint venture of Shell and Exxon. GasTerra markets most of the gas produced in the Netherlands.
